Get to know more about Power Packs Project, Greenfield tenant since July of 2020!

About Power Packs:

Power Packs Project is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that aims to improve the mental and physical health of children by helping their parents provide nutritious meals over weekends when school breakfast and lunch programs are unavailable to them. Every Wednesday and Thursday, we distribute packs of food to our 11 school districts in Lancaster County and 5 in Lebanon County for the students to bring home and cook with their families over the weekend. We aim to bridge the gap in meal insecurity in our own backyard by providing the ingredients to make a delicious and nutritious recipe, along with pantry staples

What Power Packs loves most about Greenfield:

We love the community feel and beautiful grounds! Our neighbors have all been so friendly and helpful, and we're excited to be in a location that is central to those whom we serve. Having our warehouse and office space under one roof for the first time in 15 years has been groundbreaking for our mission.

How Power Packs stays connected with the local community:

Power Packs directly serves our community weekly by providing nutritious food and education to our local students. Our amazing network of volunteers is the reason we can serve so many. We have core groups of volunteers who pack in our warehouses or at our schools/churches each week. We have drivers that transport for us weekly. We also host corporate give-back events for volunteer groups. Things right now are limited with the pandemic, but we're excited to see what 2021 brings and hopeful that things will get back to normal. We are so thankful for Lancaster County; our donors and volunteers are our local friends and neighbors. The Extra Give fundraiser event held yearly (this year on 11/20) has blown us away with Lancaster's generosity. It's a great area to live and work!
