About Power Packs Project:

For 21 years, Power Packs has been providing healthy weekend meals to food-insecure children and their families. During the 2025-26 school year, Power Packs served nearly 1,800 families each week, and over the last 2 years, we have provided more than 1 million meals to families in our communities. Power Packs also provides nutrition education to the families we serve to help them make better, healthier food choices.

What does your company enjoy most about Greenfield? 

Being in Greenfield offers many great opportunities for Power Packs. We are centrally located and close to highways for our vehicles to be on the road and for families to have access to our warehouse to pick up food, with plenty of free parking on site too!  We also enjoy the camaraderie among the tenants, the walking trails, and the summer food trucks!

How does your company connect and engage with the Lancaster community? 

By virtue of our mission, we engage in a variety of ways. First and foremost is our food distribution. We have dozens of distribution sites across the county, working with our 12 school district partners in the county. We also have hundreds of volunteers who grace us with their time and talents to further our mission. Power Packs also partners with many Lancaster County companies, growers, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to procure the food we provide.

What’s one thing you wish more people knew about your company?

We are the largest school pantry program in the region and we’ve been told we are the only organization in the U.S. that has a model of providing weekly recipes and the ingredients to make those meals.
