Our First Aid Basics training, facilitated by the Lancaster Conservancy, is designed with the outdoors in mind—perfect for hikers, campers, and anyone who enjoys spending time in nature. This hands-on class introduces essential lifesaving skills including CPR, choking response, and severe bleeding control. While the session does not result in certification, it provides practical, real-world knowledge specifically geared toward responding in remote or outdoor settings where help may not be immediately available.
This interactive training blends instructor-led teaching with immersive hands-on practice. Participants will learn and apply basic first aid techniques through guided exercises and mock rescue scenarios crafted to mirror situations you may encounter on a trail or during a camping trip.
Expect to move, practice, and problem-solve—indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
Gain the confidence and practical skills to respond calmly and effectively when emergencies happen off the beaten path.
