Celebrate 22 seasons of outstanding musicianship with the Lancaster British Brass Band in a free concert on Sunday, May 31 at 4:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster.
This engaging program features a wide-ranging repertoire designed to delight music lovers of all ages and interests. Selections include the stirring and sacred Ave Maria (arr. Daniel Elder and D. Scott Loose), the energetic big band classic Trumpet Blues and Cantabile by Harry James, and beloved favorites such as Freddie Mercury’s Bohemian Rhapsody, among many other musical surprises.
The 31-member ensemble draws professional-level musicians from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey, including soloists, ensemble performers, and dedicated music educators. The band is led by Music Director Dr. Tina DiMeglio, a respected professional educator, conductor, and clarinetist.
This concert is presented as part of the Good Shepherd Fine Arts Series, which for over 30 years has welcomed the community to enjoy high-quality performances free of charge, attracting both artists and audiences from across the region.
This Fine Arts Series event is free to attend; however, seating is limited. Guests are encouraged to arrive early.
