05:00 PM Tue, March 24, 2026 - 06:30 PM Tue, March 24, 2026The third Speaker Series event for 2025/26 will see participants engage in a meaningful discussion surrounding the topics of prejudice, acceptance, and freedom of expression – three pivotal themes shared by the Fulton’s mainstage productions of Hairspray (April 10 – May 3, 2026) and West Side Story (June 12 – July 12, 2026.)
Both productions have been recognized for their unique portrayal of racism, prejudice, and the importance of acceptance and individuality, with Hairspray doing so through a lighthearted, musical-comedy lens and West Side Story taking a more serious, and ultimately tragic, tone.
